Day 3 Post Op: like I’ve been kicked in the head Day 3 Post Op: like I’ve been kicked in the head by a mule. I’ve instructed Kent to take down anyone who tries to take my pain med away 😅… Eyes on the Prize. I want to be home as soon as possible so I’ll be doing my best to march up and down these hospital halls on very shaky legs today. The brain surgery was a success! My battered brain still works (sort of lol!) No more nasty tumor lurking in there so with a bit of luck and a lot of energy I’ll be back to myself by Christmas. That’ll be one hell of a present! I’m grateful for my stubbornness and inability to take no for an answer.The burning urge to fight. To live. Sending out a huge thank you to Dr. Timothy Darsaut and his team at the UofA.
